Patrick Gordinne Perez2024-07-17T16:23:49+00:00What’s new in the Digital Kit: The regulatory bases of the Digital Kit have been modified, extending the amount of aid and the range of beneficiaries. See what has changed and whether you can take advantage of it.
Objective of the Digital Kit
The Digital Kit is a programme aimed at SMEs, micro-enterprises and the self-employed to implement a series of catalogued digital solutions (improvement of the website and Internet presence, electronic invoicing, cybersecurity, business analysis…).
To this end, this programme provides direct financial aid (vouchers) and the action of “digitalising agents” (specialised technology companies) that accompany and advise on the implementation of these solutions.
Well, we explain what has changed in the regulatory bases.
The Digital Kit Programme has extended the deadline to apply for grants until 31 December 2024.
New beneficiaries of the Digital Kit
More beneficiaries have been added, including medium-sized companies with more than 10 million turnover and annual balance sheet (if they have less than 50 employees), companies with between 50 and 100 employees and companies with between 100 and 250 employees.
All of them will have four new categories – in addition to the existing ones – to use the bonus:
- Managed Cybersecurity Service: To strengthen their capacity to face digital security challenges.
- Customer management with associated AI for optimising processes and streamlining customer interactions.
- Business Intelligence and analytics and associated AI for exploiting business data and improving the decision-making process.
- Process management with associated AI for the automation of processes in operational and productive aspects.
Increasing the Digital Kit for the self-employed and small businesses
The aid for the self-employed and companies with less than three employees has also been increased from 2,000 euros to 3,000 euros.
If you have already applied for the previous €2,000, you can now apply for this additional €1,000 to be spent in any category.
Take advantage of the help to identify your needs and improve the functioning of your real estate agency.
New Digital Kit category
The “Secure Workplace” category, which subsidises up to 1,000 euros for the purchase of computers, has also been opened.
The computers must meet minimum performance requirements.
With the new features of the Digital Kit, the support envelope has been extended, SMEs with 50 or more employees have been included and the “Secure Workplace” category has been established.
Disadvantages of the Digital Kit
The digital kit is an aid during the first year that allows you to set up a website, install software, etc.
But bear in mind that you will then have to pay the costs of maintaining the website. This is a considerable expense if your project is not profitable over time.
The digital kit in the real estate sector
If you carry out your activity as a self-employed person or through a micro or small company (with a maximum of 50 workers), you can apply for this aid to implement catalogued digital solutions (improvement of the website and Internet presence, business analysis, electronic invoicing and virtual office, cybersecurity…).
For each type of solution there is a maximum eligible amount between €2,000 (now extendable to €3,000) and €12,000, which will normally cover the value of the chosen solution, without incurring additional costs.
How to get help from kIt Digital
Go to https://acelerapyme.es/kit-digital , register and take the self-diagnosis test to identify your needs.
You will then be able to apply for assistance and, once granted, you will receive a voucher for the corresponding amount. From there:
You have three months to allocate it to the different digital solutions supported.
Ten solutions are available, and the aid can be spent on one or more of them until the balance of the digital voucher is used up.
Digitising agent
He has the task of both advising and implementing the solutions.
You can choose the agent who will implement the solutions; it does not have to be the one who advised you.
