If your chatbot collects personal data<\/strong> (such as names, emails or contact details), make sure you also comply with the General Data Protection Regulation<\/i> (GDPR).<\/p>

This includes obtaining explicit consent<\/strong> from users to collect and process their data; also the obligation to inform them that such data will not be used beyond its intended purpose<\/strong> and that they have rights of access and cancellation.<\/p>

Experience<\/strong><\/h3>

It is important that the design and implementation of the chatbot is done with the customer experience in mind, as this will avoid user frustration and possible complaints or claims.<\/p>

Ensure that he or she is well trained:<\/p>

  • Answer the queries that are statistically most frequent.<\/li>
  • At the same time, redirect to a human agent if it is not able to answer the queries raised.<\/li>
